Gigi Chan

Founder & CEO

 

Ms. Gigi Chan is Wonder Capital’s Founder & Chief Executive Officer.  She also holds an Independent Non-Executive Director role with ZhongAn Online P & C Insurance Co Ltd (6060.HK).

In 2011-2017, Ms. Chan was COO & Head of Asia Pacific of Janus Capital Group (listed in NYSE) and Head of Greater China of Janus Henderson Investors Group (listed in NYSE and ASX) after the merger of Janus Capital Group and Henderson Global Investors. She also served as a member of the group’s Operating Committee and Global Risk Committee. In 2005-2011, Ms. Chan was CFO, Asia ex-Japan of AllianceBernstein (listed in NYSE).  Prior to that, Ms. Chan worked at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and Arthur Andersen.

Ms. Chan is President of International Finance & Economic Association and a member of Hong Kong Institute of CPAs. She was also an executive member of Hong Kong Investment Funds Association from 2014 to 2017.

Ms. Chan has over 25 years of financial industry experience.  She holds HKSFC Type 1, 4 & 9 responsible officer licenses.

Ms. Chan holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford, a Master of Economics from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Business & Administration (Accounting) with First Class Honors from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
